Tell Martee to make a batch of: To make L. reuteri Super Gut yogurt, you'll need the following:
Ingredients:
1 quart of half-and-half or full cream/whole milk (ultra-pasteurized without carrageenan or added gums is recommended). You can also use canned coconut milk with a couple of extra steps.
2 tablespoons of prebiotic fiber (inulin powder, unmodified potato starch, or Prebio Plus).
L. reuteri starter culture: You can use either 10 crushed BioGaia Gastrus tablets, the contents of 1 sachet of LR Superfood Starter, or 1/3 cup of L. reuteri yogurt from a previous batch. Some recipes also incorporate L. Gasseri and B. Coagulans.
Equipment:
Glass yogurt making jar or a clean glass/ceramic bowl.
Yogurt maker or appliance that ferments at a constant 90°F for 36 hours. It will fix him right up from the antibiotics! Cheers!
